Trent Lift Lock Tour
Saturday July 3rd 2010
Description
A ride in your boat on the world’s highest hydraulic lock at Peterborough is the highlight of this tour. We row along the Trent Canal system, linking Lakes Huron and Ontario, and go through locks, some of them quite deep. To the north of Peterborough are the more rugged Canadian Shield cottage country terrain while to the south is the smoother moraine country covered with farms.
