August 7 – 8, 2021

To celebrate 25 years of adventure touring in Ontario, we are retracing the route of the inaugural tour on Big Rideau Lake.

Launching from Poonamalie on Saturday morning we will row past Rideau Ferry to our lunch/swim spot at Murphy’s Point Provincial Park. The afternoon row will take us to Portland. On Sunday we will return to Poonamalie.  Accommodation has been reserved in Smiths Falls.

Participation is restricted to members of OAR and all COVID guidelines in place at the time must be followed.

A block of non-smoking, 2 queen bed rooms are being held at the Econo Lodge in Smiths Falls for Friday August 6 and Saturday August 7.

Lunch and snacks will be provided on both days, and a restaurant will be reserved for dinner on Saturday night. We are excited to be presenting Row Ontario Long Service Awards at the dinner.
